PS Industry Dr. Juma Mukhwana meeting with One Acre Fund (Tupande) team

This morning, PS Industry Dr. Juma Mukhwana met with One Acre Fund (Tupande) team, led by the Chief Operations Officer-Patrick Bell and Dennis Tirop- Senior Government Relations Manager. They discussed current review of Kenya's Industrialization Policy and role of counties in Value addition, and explored ways to boost agro-processing, focusing on utilizing idle manufacturing facilities in Migori, Homabay and Bungoma Counties. Key outcome:
To develop an inventory of these facilities and address Operationalization gaps such as infrastructure to boost value addition.
